Baked Tofu Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz. block super firm tofu, cut into 8 slabs
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos (or soy sauce or Braggs liquid aminos)
  • 1 tablespoon vegan worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices of bread (one for each sandwich)
  • Some type of sauce
  • a few sliced veggies
    • Mushrooms
    • Pepper
    • Zuchinni
  • Greens
    • Arugula
    • Sprouts 


DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut tofu into large thin slabs, and marinade in the aminos and worchestershire sauce for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  3. Bake tofu for 10 minutes, flip, and bake another 10 minutes.
  4. On bread, layer mushroom, garbanzo bean and tahini sauce, arugula, tofu.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes.
