Sweet and Tangy Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • Whatever veggies you have on hand
    • Baby corn on the cob
    • Bell Pepper
    • Broccoli
    • Carrots
    • Cauliflower
    • Water Chestnuts
  • 1/2 cup of some sort of grain
    • Brown rice
    • Couscous
    • Millet
    • Quinoa
  • 1/4 cup sweet and tangy sauce
  • Some sort of garnish
    • Green onion stalks
    • Sesame seeds


DIRECTIONS

  1. Dice the tofu into 1 inch squares and marinade in the sweet and tangy sauce for at least an hour, but preferably overnight.
  2. Bake the tofu until golden brown
  3. Meanwhile, fry the veggies over medium heat.
  4. Mix the tofu and any remaining sauce into the veggies.
  5. Serve with your grain and garnish.
