Cheesy Tofu

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, diced into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon brown rice flour or Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo and Fava flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos (or soy sauce or Braggs liquid aminos)
  • 1 teaspoon water


DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Mix in the wet ingredients.
  3. Dice the tofu into 1 inch squares and marinade in the sauce ingredients for at least 1 hour but preferably overnight.
  4. Sprinkle on a dusting of flour just before putting it in the air fryer
  5. Bake the tofu in an air fryer or in a conventional oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
  6. Mix up the tofu and bake for another 10 minutes.
